January 04, 2006   Extra Innings Miamisburg Indoor Baseball and Softball Facility to open on January 28, 2006

Miamisburg, OH – January 4, 2006 – Southern Ohio’s newest and finest year round baseball and softball training center located at 675 Precision Court in Miamisburg, Ohio has announced the date for their grand opening on Saturday, January 28, 2006.  Extra Innings Miamisburg is a state of the art 12,000 square foot training facility with six indoor batting and pitching tunnels, a fully stocked Pro Shop, member’s training room and private birthday party area.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Extra Innings to Miamisburg and look forward to becoming a valuable resource for the great players and coaches in the Miamisburg/Dayton area,” said Jeff Lencke, co-owner of Extra Innings Miamisburg.  “Our 15 x 70 foot multi-use tunnels, nationally-recognized Pro Shop and team of experienced instructors form a combination that is truly unrivaled in the Dayton market.”

The facility’s tunnels will be available for rental on a half-hour and hourly basis.  Extra Innings Miamisburg will also offer private and group baseball and softball instruction, camps and clinics featuring its staff of former and current professional players, college all-stars and area high school and college coaches.

Owner Jeff Lencke of Beavercreek said Extra Innings's expanded hitting tunnels allow for greater mobility and ball travel than traditional batting cages.

"Batters get a realistic view of how each ball is hit," Lencke said. "Our batting tunnels each have a pitcher's mound and an adjustable pitching machine for use. The batting tunnels are separated by sliding nets which can be pulled back to make an open field area for clinics and instruction."

The batting and pitching tunnels are rented out by the half hour or full hour to the public or used weekly by members of the club. Reservations are taken and recommended for tunnel use.

Extra Innings will be open from 10am-9pm Mon-Fri, 9am-9pm Sat, 10am-7pm Sun.

November 19, 2004   Extra Innings Unveils "Play The Game" Equipment and Apparel Line

Miamisburg, OH – November 19, 2004 – Extra Innings, the Miamisburg, OH based indoor baseball and softball training facility, today unveiled the new Extra Innings brand of apparel and equipment. The Extra Innings product line is designed for baseball and softball players by people who play the game and is available only at Extra Innings Pro Shops.

The Extra Innings "Play The Game" apparel line features socks, hats, sliding pants, game pants, hitting shirts, coaches shirts and practice jackets. The equipment line features batting gloves, bat bags, balls and training devices.

Extra Innings socks, pants, equipment bags and batting gloves will be available on December 1, 2004. The rest of the line will be available after January 1, 2005.
