Extra Innings Holds A Baseball Camp Led by Former Dayton Dragon, Brad Correll
On November 3, 2007 Brad Correll, former Dayton Dragon (currently with the Boston Red Sox organization) lead a baseball camp at Extra Innings Miamisburg. The camp, which was broken down into two sessions (one for 7 to 12 year olds, one for 13 to 17 year olds) covered functional conditioning, fielding, throwing, and hitting. One father who had boys in both sessions, commented “Brad did a great job of demonstrating not only how to hit, throw, and field but why the way you go about doing these things affects the outcome. I particularly appreciated the importance he gave to keeping in shape and practicing the fundamentals. I think it was a real eye-opener for some of the boys when Brad told them that professional players take more swings off a tee to practice than they do with live pitches.” Brad is going to continue doing instruction at Extra Innings Miamisburg until he leaves for spring training in February.
