Jerry Salyers - Extra Innings Instructor
Involved in baseball for 50 years. Manager of Four (4) National Champions ages 13-17 year olds in 1991, 1994, 2001, and 2006. Jerry is the National Director with the NABF. Jerry was the Assistant coach at the University of Dayton and Associate Scout with the Cleveland Indians. Jerry is the Ohio Valley Regional Director responsible for association growth in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virgina. Jerry will be available to teach Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, and Catching.

Jeff Kennard - New York Yankees - Head Pitching Coordinator
As a 00' Centerville graduate, he was an All-State selection and record holder. Was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school and signed in 2001 out of Rend Lake College. He played within the minor league system and was awarded with the Fireman's Rolaids Relief Pitcher award, and all-star selection, and a championship at the single – A and double – A levels. He was added to the Yankees 40 – man roster then traded to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for catcher Jose Molina. He played at triple – A level for the Angels in 2008, then the Cincinnati Reds in 2009, and then was invited to Major League camp for the Chicago Cubs in 2010 spring training. Jeff has spent his winters coaching for his entire pro career and is available to teach hitting and pitching here at Extra Innings.

Tim Nicely - West Carrollton High School
Tim graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1980. Tim made first team all MCC, and All Area for three straight years. He played on several All Star teams and played in Puerto Rico for a month. He had tryouts with the Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tim coached in the Southwest Traveling League with 11, 12, and 13 year olds. The teams were from Cincinnati, Mason, Lebanon, Bellbrook, and Centerville. Tim will be available to teach Pitchers, Catchers, and Hitting.
Dan Mote - Extra Innings Instructor
Dan is a well recognized name in Miami Valley baseball. For more than 20 years, he coached teams at Miamisburg High School to several league, divisional and sectional titles. He also coached several summer select teams in the area. He was recognized as an AFLAC Assistant Coach of the Year in 2000. Mote was a standout Player at Miamisburg High School graduating in 1976. His success as a baseball and basketball player were recognized in 2000 with his induction into the MHS Athletic Hall of Fame. Dan will be available to teach Pitching, Catching, Hitting, and Fielding.
Catrina Crisp Harmon - Extra Innings Instructor
Catrina graduated from Queens College in 2001 with a degree in Biology. In 2005 she graduated from the University of Tennessee medical school. She holds numerous records at Queens college. Career batting average .396, career strikeouts 546, and career shutouts 21. Catrina will be available to teach Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, and catching.
Brett Sutton - Assistant Coach Fairmont High School
Brett is a 2002 graduate of Kettering High School where he was an All-Conference stand-out. He currently holds school records for most consecutive games played in a season and the highest career fielding percentage of .998. After high school, Brett went to Ohio University where he had a brief stint playing baseball before an injury. He earned a bachelor's degree in Education. Brett will be available to teach hitting, fielding, and pitching.
Brad Clark - University of Dayton
Brad was a 1st Team Academic All-Ohio pitcher in high school for the Miamisburg Vikings from 2002-2006. Brad was awarded the most improved player award in 2006, a season in which he went 7-2 with a 3.12 ERA. Brad now plays for the Dayton Rangers and lead the team in doubles and making the all-star team as a pitcher and 3rd baseman. Brad attends the University of Dayton and studies Exercise Science and Fitness Management. Brad has done numerous lessons and clinics at Extra Innings. Brad will be available to teach Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, and Catching.
Drew York - Colorado Rockies
Drew graduated in 2000 from Rancho Buena Vista High School in Oceanside, Ca. Attended College of the Siskiyous in 2001 and 2002. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2001 the 48th round and 2002 in the 50th round. Signed as a free agent in 2003. Drew can teach Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding.
Brad Thoma - Pro Player Independent League
Brad played at West Carrollton High School. Attended Thomas More College and was a 4 year starter. Brad was the conference player of the year his senior year. Graduated in 2006. Brad currently plays for the Atlantic City Surf in The CanAm League. His Manager is Cecil Fielder who played in the Major Leagues. Brad can teach Hitting, Fielding, and Pitching.
Sam Mote - Assistant Coach University Of Cincinnati
Appeared in 126 games for the Raiders. Sam played second base, Third base, and shortstop. Sam hit .300 in the four years at Wright State. Lettered three-years for the Vikings...was selected as team captain during his junior and senior season...named the team MVP as a senior...selected to the Division I All-Ohio team as a senior...named to the All-District team during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... three-time All-Mid Miami League selection...led the Vikings to the OHSAA State Semifinal game...helped MHS to the MML Championship and a 28-5 record during his senior season...holds the school record for doubles in a season (16) and hits in a season (52). Sam can teach Hitting, Fielding, and Pitching.
Terri Mesko - College of Charleston
In the history of the College of Charleston Cougars, Terri is the career and single season strikeout leader, along with her name appearing in the record books 5 different times to go with the strikeout totals. For the past few seasons Terri has pitched and played for the USA Athletes International in games and tournaments all over the world, including Belgium, Amsterdam, and Australia. Played on the highest level professional team in Germany as well as coached for the second highest. This former state high school champion is a great addition to Extra Innings already stellar instructor line-up.
Doug Stebbins - Instructor for Speed & Agility
M.S. Physical Education, University of Dayton; Egoscue Certified Postural Alignment Specialist; NASM Personal Trainer; Patch Fitness Trainer; 2008 Performance and Conditioning Coordinator West Carrollton High School Varsity Football, Basketball, Baseball; 2009 Northmont High School Varsity Football Functional Performance Consultant. PediaFitness LLC began operations in 2004 and continues to develop and bring the latest techniques to maximize athletic performance and pain relief to Ohio. PediaFitness , which means to move the feet without limitations in Latin, was born from Doug's experience as a client with the Egoscue Method® and treating his own low back pain and improving performance while training for the Columbus Marathon. The success he had using the Egoscue Method® , lead him to become an Egoscue Certified Postural Alignment Specialist and a passion to help others reach their wellness and athletic goals. While studying in San Diego at the Egoscue Clinic, he had the opportunity to work with professional athletes and learn from the leading trainers in the Egoscue Method® , Patch Fitness® , and Personal Training. Doug has taught Physical Education for 18 years in the West Carrollton School district and coached basketball, baseball and football. During the 2008 season he served as Performance and Conditioning coordinator for the West Carrollton High School Football Team and Coach Bob Brigati. The team completed its most injury free season in Coach Brigati's tenure as head coach. Doug will be assisting with the Northmont High School Football team to improve durability and athleticism during the 2009 off season.
